Keppel Shipyards, Singapore. VICTORIA & ALBERT DRY DOCK (1982) Everdure Caltite slab over existing granite base. The original granite base surface had become damaged and rough by years of salt scaling. In 1976, a reinforced Everdure Caltite "overlay" was cast over the granite base, to return the dock to a serviceable condition, prior to later re-development in the early 1990's. |
