CALFORM NX
Reactive Form Release Agent - Prevents adhesion of concrete to forms and concrete handling equipment. Produces Class 1 quality off-form concrete.
EFFECTS: |
Calform NX is a highly efficient chemical form release agent, which reacts with the alkali present in the cement to form a micro-scopic water repellent "plastic" film between concrete and formwork. By this action, first class off-form finish is achieved, while formwork life is extended and protected against continuous wetting and drying action. |
WHERE RECOMMENDED: |
On all formwork, particularly where high quality off-form finish is desired, kipples, wheelbarrows, shovels and tools of trade. |
NOTES: |
Calform NX may be used on Aluminium of steel frames to protect against splashes of concrete or mortar. |
CAUTION: |
When Calform NX is used and Calcure B is to be used, care must be taken to thoroughly clean down concrete surface removing all traces of very fine powder residue prior to the application of Calcure B. This powder normally weathers away in a few days but may be trapped by early application of curing compound. The powder itself is fully compatible with renders and paints. |

| Calform NX to be spray or brush applied to all contact surfaces of formwork at the rate of 13 to 20 square metres per litre. |
