High
Efficiency Concrete Curing by a single spray application, without
external covering or continuous water application
EFFECTS: |
Calcure CR is a special formulation incorporating chlorinated rubber which seals the surface of freshly placed concrete, inhibiting moisture loss and providing high efficiency curing. Calcure CR complies with ASTM C309-66. |
WHERE RECOMMENDED: |
All concrete surfaces which will be subject to traffic during the curing period, and areas to which standard curing methods would be difficult or uneconomical. After the curing period, preferably at the end of the job, an additional application of Calcure CR will seal the dry concrete against dusting and facilitate cleaning. CAUTION: |
Do not specify Calcure CR or other membrane curing compounds when surface hardeners such as Cementaid "DIAMITE" are specified to be used as penetration of these treatments would be impaired. In such cases, specify water, damp sand or plastic sheet curing. |
Detailed information on special uses, test results, projects previously using products, and special recommendations are available from your nearest Cementaid Technical Office. For application Rega pneumatic knapsack spray is recommended with No. 9, 10 or 11 fantail nozzles. Equipment should be cleaned with solvent based thinners such as Xylol. |

SPECIFICATIONS |
| All concrete shall be cured by a liberal application of Calcure CR sprayed on to the surface as soon as possible after finishing or removal of forms at the rate of 5-7 square metres per litre depending on efficiency required. |
