EFFECTS: |
Reduces water absorption and transpiration of moisture by 70-80%, compared to normal concrete. Typical test absorption (Brit. Bldg. Research method), - 1.5 - 2% vs. similar plain concrete at 5 - 7%. Gives a slight increase in workablility. Can be detected in wet concrete by the slight odour of ammonia present. |

SPECIFICATIONS |
| All concrete(specify sections) shall be made moisture resistant by the addition of 1 litre of CEMENTAID AQUAPEL
per 40 kg bag of cement used (or 8 litres per cubic metre) with water content corrected to maintain specified slump.
The recommended minimum cement content of the concrete mix should be 350kg per cu.metre. RENDER: All render shall be made moisture resistant by the addition of 1.5litre of AQUAPEL per 40 kg bag of cement used, with water content corrected to maintain the specified slump. |
